An Assortment Of Quick Cinematic Film Plot Lines


For a long time we have used the video store as one of our main ways to access movies. The next generation it seems will be getting their movies from movie downloads, avoiding any trips to the store. You can get virtually any movie you want with a good movie download site. Here are some examples.

The House on Carroll Street: McGillis just lost her job after being branded a subversive throughout the McCarthy epoch, trips onto an odd espionage structure that’s being encompassed up, and steadily convinces FBI representative Daniels that she’s on to something large. Deep in the Heart: Imagined-inciting, if infrequently simplistic, tirade ‘in reference to the progression of a youthful lady pleasantly played by Youthful from passivity to brutality, conclude from her relation with macho Texan Night. Cast includes Karen Youthful, Clayton Night, Suzie Humphreys, and Ben Jones. (101 minutes, 1983)

Lilies of the Field: A “little” film that made excellent, triumphing Poitier an Oscar as handyman who helps construct chapel for Skala and German-talking nuns. Cast includes Sidney Poitier, Lilia Skala, Lisa Mann, Isa Crino, and Stanley Adams. (93 minutes, 1963)

Fort Apache: Fonda is successfully cast contrary to type as adamant martinet who strokes his own means as well as bordering Indians. It remunerates Montgomery’s attempts to sustain sanctity of his secluded island contrary to proactive crooks and smugglers. Cast includes John Wayne, Henry Fonda, Shirley Church, Pedro Armendariz, John Agar, Ward Bond, Mae Bog, and Hank Worden. (127 minutes, 1948)

War Of The Worlds: The future of the human race is at stake in this invasion from outer space thriller. The aliens seem to be indestructible. Everyone is simply trying to stay alive, hoping a solution will come.

Saw Two: Sadistic continuation finds fiendish mastermind “Jigsaw” keeping a group of “outsiders prisoner in a spooky, booby-snared home. Lots of gore for fans, as the sufferers race the watch when a fatal fuel fi1ls their lungs. Wahlberg is the steel cop on the case, although could he match brains with this twirled madman? Cast includes Darren Lynn Bousman, Donnie Wahlberg, Shawnee Smith, Tobin Bell, Frank G. Glenn Plummer, Dina Meyer, Emmanuel Vaugier, Beverley Mitchel, Erik Knudsen, and Tim Burd. (102 minutes, 1966)

The Devil’s Advocate: Kevin Lomax has never lost a case. He then gets an offer to move to New York, and work for John Milton, at his prestigious firm. Once there, things start to very strange. As time goes on he comes to realize that John Milton is none other than the Devil himself.

Philadelphia: Andrew Beckett is a gay lawyer who has aids. He is dying of the disease. He was fired from the conservative law firm he worked for because there was fear of contracting the disease from him. As he battles to live on, he chooses to sue the law firm, to help further the cause of other aids victims. His originally homophobic lawyer, fights through his prejudice to fight for this cause.

Down Argentine Way: Entertaining 20th Century Fox lyrical with Grable in the film that increased her to stardom dropping in love with slick Argentinean horse breeder Ameche. Miranda is wonderful in her first American film, acting infectious Brazilian melodies with her own band and look out for the Nicholas Brothers, who do a dynamite forte number. Picture postcard color all the way through. Cast includes Don Ameche, Betty Grable, Carmen Miranda, Charlotte Wood, Carrol Naish, Henry Stephenson, and Leonid Kinskey. (90 minutes, 1940)
